Introduce your little one to the joy of Mahjong with the Mini Mahjer program!
You've caught the Mahjong bug, and now it's time to welcome your built in table partners to pull up a seat at the Mahjong Table! Little Birdie Bams is designed to create a welcoming and age appropriate environemnt for the youngest Mahj Squad members, simplifying our beloved game to be played right alongside the adults at the table.
Utilizing the Mini Mahjer program and game card options, we will walk through the basics of gameplay at a digestible rate for children aged 5+. At the end of the program, you will be able to go home with your little one and practice your game using the NJML card while they play on a just right for them Mini Mahjer version!
Participants can expect 10-15 minutes of gameplay instruction, followed by open/guided play options. Mini Mahjer games generally last between 15-20 minutes, perfect for shorter attention spans. A small craft project will be availible when your little one needs a change of pace.
Light snacks will be provided for participants. All students leave with a participation prize from the prize bucket, certificate of completion, and will earn a trinket for each win in class. Class registration also includes: a Mini Mahjer gameplay tips and resources sheet, trinkets & trinket box, & mini mahjong swag bag.
*Please note, the Mini Mahjer card is not included in the price of your ticket. You are welcome to purchase the card ahead of class, or borrow class cards from the Bay State Bam card library for the duration of class.

Bay State Bam Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation within one week of a ticketed event, a refund will only be issued if the seat can be filled. The purchaser may offer their seat to a replacement, or request that Bay State Bam advertise and attempt to sell the seat on their behalf. Refunds of any kind will not be issued within 48 hour of the event, regardless of if a replacement is found.
