Grab a seat at the table, connect with fellow players, and bring your gear to life with on-site customization.

Event Highlights
Open Play Mahjong: Bring your favorite set or join a table for casual, social games throughout the event. All skill levels are welcome.
Live Customization Station: The Pressed Edit will be on-site offering custom heat-press patching. Bring your own jackets, bags, or pouches—or grab items there—to create a one-of-a-kind piece.
Exclusive Troop Mahjong Patches: Be among the first to bling out with Troop Mahjong Sequin Patches (availible for purchase at the event) .
Sip & Socialize: Unwind, chat with friends, and enjoy the lively atmosphere between rounds. Light bites will be served.

*This event is the Social Play evening for Troop Mahjong Fall 2026 League Participants. Registration for league participants is free of charge for open play. Single tickets for this evening of Open Play are availible for new and returning Troop Members as well. A Mahjong League of Their Own : Troop Mahjong Fall League
It's a Mahjong League of Our Own!
Join Bay State Bam for a 6 week social league of friendly competition, fun, and delights! There's no crying in this Mahjong league full of fun, friends, and prizes galore!
Bay State Bam is proud to be the host of the only area Troop Mahjong chapter. Troop Leader Brittany is ready to welcome you to the Mahjong Table for a six week series of league play, bringing the fun as we enhance our game and welcome friendly competition among our troop members!
This six week league will take place on Tuesdays from 7 PM - 10 PM weekly, starting on September 29 and ending on November 3, 2026. The five highest scores from the six weeks of league play will count towards the league prize packages.

Doors open at 7:00 PM each night, gameplay begins promptly at 7:30 (or as soon as your table is ready to go!). You should expect to play a minimum of 4 games over the 2.5 hour period. An appetizer bar will be included weekly with league registration.

Membership in the Troop Mahjong Boston/Worcester Chapter (please select the new member registration option if you have not previously joined us!) which unlocks a special welcome gift and your Troop Mahjong Merit Book.

This league will be played according to National Mah Jongg League rules and regulations for points. Points will be collected and scored exclusively through MahWins, and prize winners will be determined based on the five highest point value days of the league for each participant.
While this is a beginner friendly and forward league, participation is open to Mahjong players of all levels. We're playing to have fun, improve our game, and get stronger as players.
Please note that due to the competitive gameplay environment, absolutely no guidance will be given during the league play events. Want to participate but feeling nervous? Attend an open play event or arrange for a private guided play session ahead of the league start date!
League Pricing
$140/Participant for New Troop Mahjong Members and League Play.
$125/Participant for returning Troop Members and 6 Weeks of League play*
*Anyone who attended the Summer League and associated events should purchase a returning participant ticket.
Policy & Weather Notice Registration is a flat $125 per person, covering all 6 weeks of play plus our free open play social night (7 events total!).
Refunds & Attendance: Because this is a fixed rate, all purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are unable to prorate for missed weeks or scheduling conflicts, so buyers assume responsibility for any missed dates.
Cancellations: If rain or unforeseen circumstances force us to cancel a week, don't worry! We will schedule a makeup event equal to or greater in value to make sure you get your full experience.

Bay State Bam is welcoming Troop Mahjong members IN this holiday season! Join us at Bay State Bam HQ for an evening of Mahjong among holiday decor sure to delight and inspire. We're keeping it cozy and casual, but bringing the big holiday spirit!
Open Play tables will be set up throughout the home among the vibrant holiday decor. Light bites and holiday cookies will be served, alongside piping hot cocoa, eggnog, and mixed cocktails. Spiked or not, you're sure to be feeling cosy as we tuck in for a night of gameplay on holiday and winter themed luxury mahjong sets, mats, and accessories.
