You are cordially invited to an exclusive, high-stakes American Mahjong night hosted by local legend Eleanor Vance at her private estate. But before the first tile is even called, a high-society sabotage takes place: someone has attempted to poison Eleanor’s drink!
Determined to catch the culprit, Eleanor triggers her automated security system—locking the estate gates and trapping all 12 guests inside.
Eleanor knows the mastermind is sitting right at Table 1, working alongside a secret accomplice somewhere in the room. She’s keeping the doors locked until the truth comes out. The only way to earn clue fragments, cross-examine suspects, and discover the gate override code is to play through the night!
How the Night Works
This isn't your standard Mahjong night. We are blending American Mahjong with the unpredictable Mischief Mahj expansion deck to drive a live murder mystery investigation:
Mischief Deck Clue Triggers: Drawing or playing a Mischief Card unlocks physical evidence envelopes, revealing secret motives, financial ledgers, and alibis.
Interrogations & Joker Steals: Special cards like "Show Me Your Line" and "Jack Your Jokers" allow you to expose hand lines, steal tiles, and seize private gossip notes from rivals.
The Charleston Clue Pass: Pass unwanted tiles alongside secret whispers to keep evidence constantly moving around the room.
Table Rotations: Rotate tables between hands to test your theories against new suspects.
Evening Schedule
Arrival & Role Assignment: Check in, receive your secret character profile, and hear Eleanor’s opening lockdown announcement.
Round 1: Opening Mahjong hands; initial Mischief deck clue drops.
Intermission: Drinks, refreshments, and initial suspect table rotation.
Round 2 (High Chaos): Double Mischief draws and major evidence reveals.
Round 3 & Accusations: Final hands played and submission of Accusation Ballots.
The Grand Reveal: Eleanor unmasks the culprit, reveals the override key, and hands out awards!

Top Detective: Correctly identify the culprit, accomplice, motive, and secret code card.
Mischief Master: Highest total Mahjong score across all three rounds.
Best Dramatic Performance: Awarded for the best in-character roleplay.
